Some decent CG were used to enhance actions/visuals but they might seem cheap compare to the much higher budget "DG,SD 2003" or "ROCH 2006". The cinematography is beautiful as with most of Zhang Ji-Zhong's productions. Major characters were portrayed well and very memorable, especially the villains. Details of the ending were also slightly altered, but overall it's as faithful to the book as you can get. IMO, this is a good move as with other minor revisions.
